The Government Centers


Hello everyone:
This week’s post is about a topic that catched my attention during this semester: “The Government Centers”.
The Government Centers are a place where presidential political decisions occur. The aim of Government Centers is primarily to provide the president with a political staff capable of advising him during the decision making process to improve public policymaking. 
Specifically, the Government Center in Chile has focused on improving the effectiveness of the state’s work and improving coherence and coordination in decision-making. All this, to govern efficiently in an increasingly complex society.
Composition of the Government Center
Personally, I consider this topic very interesting and also innovative because It’s not always about or talked about, so when I started studying it I found it very relevant. I learned several interesting things from him that I didn’t know before, for example, which is know as the “Segundo piso de la Moneda” or that is heavily influenced by the presidential style of each period.

My future job

Hello! This new post will be about the job I would like to have. The career I decided to study is Public Administration, so I want my work to be very public service oriented.  Regarding the place where I would like to work, I would like to work in region different than Metropolitana, because I am from there and I think it would be nice and very valuable for me to contribute from more decentralized areas where progress needs to be made. Besides, my family live there (Región del Maule). However, I believe that in Santiago I can find more opportunities to develop myself and know different areas and workplaces (in regions this is more difficult). Hello! My name is Camila Flores, I am 19 years old, I am from Linares and I study Public Administration at Universidad de Chile. At present I am studying my second year in the career. In relation with English my experience has not been so good because this course has always been difficult for me and my high school did not have a good base in English. So I consider that I have more weaknesses than strengths. Without a doubt, my principal weaknesses is listening, that is, understand what is said. Finally, my expectations for this class is strengthen the English because it is a very important language and very useful for life. In Addition, English gives a lot of opportunities. Hello! Definitely, if you ask me which country I would like to go obviously my answer is “to several”. However, one of the countries that I am most interested in  is Ireland because it has certain characteristics that really catch my attention for example, its beautiful landscape. Ireland is a country whose capital is Dublin, the place where St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated!. The national holiday whose date is March 17 th , when everything turns green and everything becomes the celebration.  In this country I would like to know its landscape of green meadows (for this reason it is also known as the green country).
