Hello, Today we will discuss two important websites in our field.

 The Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional (BCN)  born in 1883 thanks to the initiative of the Deputy Pedro Montt Montt, who was later president of Chile.  
The Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional (BCN)  It is a common service of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Your mission is to support the parliamentary community in the exercise of its functions and contribute to the linkage of the National Congress of Chile with the citizenship giving access to and promoting dialogue between parliamentarians and civil society. This website is very relevant in our field because it allows us to access and revise the main laws, regulations and decrees that are very important because we should always know what we can or cannot do within the Public Administration and also, how to do it in our time to work.
Another relevant website is the Biblioteca Digital de la Universidad de Chile. There you can find different collections books, manuscripts, newspapers, magazines, photographs, outstanding galleries, among others. It really is a great tool, just like the previous website.

My future job

Hello! This new post will be about the job I would like to have. The career I decided to study is Public Administration, so I want my work to be very public service oriented.  Regarding the place where I would like to work, I would like to work in region different than Metropolitana, because I am from there and I think it would be nice and very valuable for me to contribute from more decentralized areas where progress needs to be made. Besides, my family live there (Región del Maule). However, I believe that in Santiago I can find more opportunities to develop myself and know different areas and workplaces (in regions this is more difficult). For this reason I think I would prefer to continue in Santiago and then look at the opportunities as they come along. I think it´s always good to be open to new opportunities and not close at some.  In the career there are two mentions, Public Management or Political Science. Hello! My name is Camila Flores, I am 19 years old, I am from Linares and I study Public Administration at Universidad de Chile. At present I am studying my second year in the career. In relation with English my experience has not been so good because this course has always been difficult for me and my high school did not have a good base in English. So I consider that I have more weaknesses than strengths. Without a doubt, my principal weaknesses is listening, that is, understand what is said. Finally, my expectations for this class is strengthen the English because it is a very important language and very useful for life. In Addition, English gives a lot of opportunities. Hello! Definitely, if you ask me which country I would like to go obviously my answer is “to several”. However, one of the countries that I am most interested in  is Ireland because it has certain characteristics that really catch my attention for example, its beautiful landscape. Ireland is a country whose capital is Dublin, the place where St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated!. The national holiday whose date is March 17 th , when everything turns green and everything becomes the celebration.  In this country I would like to know its landscape of green meadows (for this reason it is also known as the green country).
